A windy day at
Cape Hatteras and
I just happened
to catch a
picture of this
Marine flag
at the exact right
moment!

Love and Hugs,
February 21, 2008
Where did the time go? February is almost over and spring is right around the corner. We've done two luncheons
at Bethesda so far this year, one at Mercy Hall the end of January and one last Sunday. The February luncheon should be
online soon. Each time we go, I come away even more humbled than the one before...
This past Wednesday I spent the evening with Veterans of Valor for their dinner and game night at Dave and Busters
not far from the hospital. You can see a slideshow of the evening here.
I first met Klay and Janet last May when we were at Mercy Hall doing a luncheon and they came in to distribute their backpacks. They've
since expanded to Brooke.
Klay is an inspiration to the guys and has a great team working with him to accomplish his mission.
